I appreciate your explanation. I know that you are gonna be busy teaching within the DSA and that might be the best way to bring your writing to its best use...expanding willing minds. That said, I enjoy your writing...this means you ain't popular (joke)...you're at the tip of the spear and need to reach the shaft of the spear. This makes me think of my father. He spent his working years reading, and occasionally trying to write, science fiction stories. He intended to dive into it fully after retiring. But when he finally did retire, he found that writing was still just as difficult, and trying to sell stories to magazines was just as painful, as before. So now he has quit this dream of writing that he kept alive for years. The sadness is real.

I think you’re aces... I have a similar relationship with visual art-making.
